Surely there must be something within EEP that allows one to restore these windows?
It's the same in EEP13 as well.

Hi Tony
have a look here this was my problem a few years ago ..
Hi @tony583 ,
I would be glad to help you with your problem, but I am pretty sick at the moment, and I am writing my posts on my tablet PC. So unfortunately I am not able to assist you in this matter as soon as possible. But I am pretty sure that somebody else is.
If not, I have to ask you to wait until tomorrow evening. Maybe then we could find a solution.
Greetings, Patrick
Hi, I've tried REGTOOL but not sure what it does
When you start the tool, it shows for each window (Event, Radar and Control Dialogue) the actual coordinates. By clicking on the buttons "Set X-Y to 0" or typing a value in the fields followed by clicking on "Apply" these values are written in the Windows registry. You have to end EEP first as it writes also in the registry and may again overwrite your settings from Regtool.
So : Be sure EEP is not running, start Regtool and set the values by entering or resetting them to zero, then click for each type on "Apply". Start EEP again.
I hope this helps.

My latest on the 'three windows' problem. I've tried a few times using 'regtool' but without success. By re-locking the windows in the program settings they appear. But when I 'unlock' overview and control dialogue windows then minimise them they disappear! There is no sign of them anywhere. This is on a Dell laptop using Windows 10. As it happens I have another older laptop using 'Windows 7' and EEP 14 installed. This one works fine. When I unlock the three windows they become free, and when minimised an image is visible on the tool bar with the ability to restore the at will. Any suggestions?
If your Windows are not visible, run the Regtool and let know what the actual coordinates are.
Tell also what your actual screen resolution is and the scale (both to be found in the settings window when right-clicking on your desktop and choosing the screen settings menu).
OK - Screen Resolution is 1920 x 1080, Scale is 125%,
Regtool readings are Control Dialogue 56 x 644
Overview 734 x 753
Event 398 x 996
Thanks for your help EEPNOLIE Hope this helps
Scale is 125%,
This might cause your problems.
EEP doesn't work well with scaling set to anything other than 100%

Is also my thought, reset to 100% and see what happens.
Yes, scaling to 100% has cured that problem, thanks Guys. Only problem now is that text is so small I can hardly read it! Any suggestions?
